Bakit?
NOTE: Gawing logical, wala kaming pake sa nararamdaman nyo
The "TAXPAYERS ONLY" stance assumes two fallacies:
1. That because I have a job and pay taxes, then I automatically know that I'll be voting for the right people.
2. I am immune from being bribed to vote for the wrong people.
A taxpayer's vote is not immune to bribery. It's just more expensive, because you're bribing someone who's probably a little less dumber than the rest of the population.
Pero sige, tanggalin natin ang bribe factor. Just for the sake of argument eh assume nating hindi talaga naba-bribe kapag taxpayer ka. Do you think just because I'm a taxpayer I'd spend my energy researching who I'd vote for, instead of say, maintaining my base in Clash of Clans? Bakit? Just because I'm a taxpayer doesn't mean biglang may tyaga akong magresearch about public figures and their political history.
WALA.
TL;DR, I say NO. If you don't want assholes to be voted the next President, maybe make it illegal for ASSHOLES to run for presidency?

There are 2 types of paying taxes.
1. Directly
2. Indirectly
Directly: These are the people who pay their taxes via working. (income tax)
Indirectly: These are the people who pays taxes indirectly via the E-VAT when purchasing prodcuts, goods, etc.
Not enough.
We're in democratic country. As if I didn't know that? But look at what too much democracy did to us? Our democracy turned into a democrazy already. So, it's a yes for me.
